Hi, I am Jay Thakkar, Indian Classical Flautist, Abstract Painter, Architect. I perform and teach Indian Classical Music on Bansuri (North Indian Bamboo Flute). Apart from being a Solo concert artist, I have released two albums of my music in pure Indian Classical genre under my independent label MUSICABSTRACT. The two albums are "Prahar Pravaah - the eight equal time divisions of the 24 hour cycle" and "Aadi Ragas - Six Primeval Ragas". Currently I am working on two more albums. One covers the Light Classical sub genres of Indian Music and the other deals with experimental raga based music.
