About Opportunities

At Tenlegs, our mission is to allow artists to prosper both creatively and financially. While our Workspace and Collaboration features allow artists to connect with other artists to develop highly amazing artistic projects, we wanted to do more to assist our community. As a result Tenlegs’ Opportunities was born out of the desire to help out members directly connect with those organizations that need their creative services.

We believe our application approach not only prevents artists from having to put too many resources behind a submission, but also gives those organizations seeking artists through Tenlegs’ Opportunities the ability to judge whether you are the right partner to commission for the actual work.

TRIUM is looking for a Tenlegs artists to help create our current one page admissions document to be more up to date and visually appealing highlighting key facts about the program. We use this document to provide to people during admissions fairs and prospective students.

  • Animated Infographic Video

    Animated Infographic Video

    Business Analytics is the study of data through statistical and operations analysis, the formation of predictive models, the application of optimization techniques and the communication of these results to customers, business partners and executives. Graduates of this program will enhance their understanding of the technologies available to analyze businesses and solve crucial 21st century business problems. They will lead their industries by applying the skills they have learned here to analyze the vast amount of data currently made available through digital channels. The culmination of the program is the Business Analytics Capstone, which gives students an opportunity to apply the learnings of the program by presenting a unified and practical case on a topic of their choosing. Client would like to create a 2-3 minute animated video that explains what business analytics is and how the program will help students.

CourseHorse.com is a start-up that makes it easier to find local classes (art, dance, public speaking, tech, etc). They needed a signature "About Us" video made for some upcoming events. The budget was tight and the timeline even tighter. They turned to Tenlegs to help find an animator who could deliver a high-quality product within their constraints. We conducted a outreach to a targeted group video artists and animators. Tenlegs facilitated discussions with the artists and helped CourseHorse to shortlist the top three candidates. Noted social psychologist Professor Jonathan Haidt was preparing to give a talk on psychological hive effects at TED2012. He wanted videos to depict three distinct, but related, experiences that the people in his research had described. He had a budget and a concept but needed someone to produce these short videos. He came to Tenlegs and we put out the call for proposals. We facilitated the selection process and Prof. Haidt made the final decision in early January. With our first-ever contest, The Butterfly Effect Contest, we gave our members a whole new level of control of their destinies to compete for and win one $5,000 Grand Prize. Open to artists working in all media, participants worked their own networks to get votes and become one of our twelve finalists. Finalists were judged by our Member Advisory Council, a diverse group of eight distinguished creatives enlisted from our network. We received more than 400 submissions from and more than 5000 votes were cast. The winning submision Ten Thousand Others came from Tenlegs members, Kevin Kuo and GTSO Films.
